"Rezeki Haji Berkah" Program, Bank Muamalat Share Free Umrah Packages

Jakarta, November 27, 2018 - PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk. ("Bank Muamalat") provides free umrah packages to 75 customers who win the Rezeki Haji Berkah (RHB) program. The ceremony to award the prize as well as coupled with the Umrah ritual was held at Muamalat Tower on Tuesday, November 27, 2018.

Bank Muamalat Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Achmad K. Permana said that hajj and umrah savings were the mainstay products of Bank Muamalat. Therefore, he made a special program so that the community would be interested in opening savings accounts as well as migrating to Islamic banks through Bank Muamalat. This year's RHB program is the third time since it was first held in 2015.

"In average the number of Hajj and Umrah accounts grows by 20% every year. This achievement contributes to the growth of Bank Muamalat's low-cost funds, "he said.

Bank Muamalat itself has a market share of 14% for regular hajj and 46% for special hajj portions (high end segment) of the total portion of the national pilgrimage. Bank Muamalat's special pilgrimage market share is the biggest contributor compared to other Islamic banks. Muamalat's advantage is the existence of a one-stop service that guarantees the practicality of the customers in registering the Hajj portion.

This year free umrah opportunities are given to lucky customers from all areas of Bank Muamalat operations throughout Indonesia. Participants will depart on Wednesday, November 28 - Thursday, December 6, 2018 by partnering with the NRA travel company as a partner for Umrah service providers.

Customers who can participate in this program are iB Hajj Hajj Savings customers or a combined iB Hijrah Savings Plan plus Hajj iB Savings Savings and have a minimum balance of IDR 5 million or USD 500, a minimum deposit of IDR 100,000 per month. The drawing period starts from September 2017 to December 31, 2018.

Regarding hajj and umrah services, Bank Muamalat has launched a 1hram debit shar-e card that can be used in more than 18,000 ATMs with a VISA logo in the Holy Land. Pilgrims can also use ATMs owned by Al Rajhi Bank, which have been provided by the Indonesian Language menu to increase customer convenience. For information, Al Rajhi Bank is a partner of Bank Muamalat which is the largest Islamic bank in the world that provides more than 3,600 ATM machines.

Another advantage, customers will not be charged / free cash withdrawals at Al Rajhi ATMs when making purchases using a 1hram card in Saudi Arabia, up to a 15% subsidy for spending in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions.
