Bank Muamalat Appoints New Corporate Secretary

JAKARTA, January 11, 2019 - PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk. ("Bank Muamalat") appointed Hayunaji as Head of Corporate Affairs and also served as the new Corporate Secretary. Hayunaji officially served as of December 17, 2018 replacing Ali Akbar Hutasuhut's position.

Bank Muamalat Chief Executive Officer Achmad K. Permana said that changes in the organizational structure of a company are commonplace. This appointment is needed to continue and strengthen the corporate governance that has been going well and in line with the planned #AyoHijrah campaign.

Information about this change has been submitted through the BMI website in accordance with Financial Services Authority Regulation No. 35 / POJK.04 / 2014 concerning Corporate Secretary of Issuer or Public Company.

"With a range of his professional experiences in the banking world, we believe Hayunaji will be able to make a positive contribution to the progress of the company," said Permana.

Hayunaji has been active in the banking industry for approximately 20 years. Owned track records include the Office Board, Investor Relations, and Strategy & Performance Management in several banks. Hayunaji's last position was Vice President - Board Office Head at PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk.

He graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia. Hayunaji started his career in the banking sector through the Officer Development Program (ODP) of PT Bank Duta Tbk. Aside from being a banker, he also has a hobby as a musician and nature lover.
