Bank Muamalat Digital Banking Service Wins ATM Joint Award

Jakarta, November 9, 2018 - PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk ("Bank Muamalat") won the Joint ATM Award 2018 for the category of The Best Active Islamic Bank Terminal from PT Artajasa Pembayaran Elektronis. The award was held in Banyuwangi on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 and was represented by the Head of Bank Muamalat E-Business Management Andy Chairil Kamili.

Bank Muamalat Retail Business Director Purnomo B. Soetadi said this was the fourth award received by Bank Muamalat at the ATM Bersama Award event. Bank Muamalat excels in the category of Best Marketing Breaktrough (2016), Best Sharia Destination Bank and Best Sharia Bank Performance (2017).

"Thank God, we are grateful for the appreciation obtained by Bank Muamalat at this annual event. God willing, Bank Muamalat will continue to expand the range of digital payments as a step to further facilitate customer transactions, "he said.

Meanwhile, Andy explained that this achievement could not be separated from the cooperation between Bank Muamalat and Artajasa which has been going on since 2010. The cooperation that has been running between Bank Muamalat and Artajasa includes as partner principle member of ATM Bersama, as a biller aggregator partner, as well as implementation partner National Payment Gate.

Throughout 2018, Bank Muamalat has also received awards related to the development of its owned digital technology, namely the award of innovative digital zakat payments and mobile banking owned by Bank Muamalat.

For information, Artajasa is a company engaged in the field of electronic payment systems. Artajasa acts as the principal and GPN switching institution that manages systems and networks between members and providers of various services and services related to ATM Bersama electronic financial transactions.

At present ATM Bersama has as many as 94 banks and non-bank institutions connected through more than 79,481 ATM terminals. The ATM Bersama Award is held as a form of appreciation to financial institutions that have collaborated under the auspices of the ATM Bersama.
