Bank Muamalat Wins Indonesia Corporate Secretary & Corporate Communication Award 2019

 

Jakarta, 25 February 2019 - PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk. won the Indonesia Corporate Secretary and Corporate Communication Award 2019. The company received the Gold predicate for the category of public banks with assets above Rp25 trillion.

 

The award was initiated by the Economic Review Magazine in collaboration with the Indonesia-Asia Institute and Perbanas Institute. This appreciation is intended for companies that have contributed to open news and have a positive effect on the general public.

 

The Head of Public & Media Relations of Bank Muamalat Indah DPP was present to receive this award in Solo on Friday, February 22, 2019. Editor in Chief of Economic Review Magazine Irlisa Rahmadiana handed over the award accompanied by Acting. Head of Public Relations Bureau of the Ministry of Communication & Information of the Republic of Indonesia Ferdinandus Setu.

 

Corporate Secretary of Bank Muamalat Hayunaji said that the award obtained showed that Bank Muamalat as a public company was able to implement the principle of information disclosure well.

 

"We believe that public companies must be able to carry out the principles of information disclosure well. Therefore we continue to strive to convey information related to the company both through the company's official website and other publication media, "he said.

 

Digital Innovation

At the same time Bank Muamalat also received the Indonesia Digital Innovation 2019 award from Warta Ekonomi Magazine. The Company was established as an innovative company in responding to customer complaints quickly for the Islamic bank category.

 

The award ceremony was held at Balai Kartini Jakarta on Friday 22 February 2019. Bank Muamalat was represented by Wang Wardhana as Head of Wealth Management & E-Business. This year is the fourth time this award has been held.

 

                                                                        

 

This award is an appreciation to financial companies in Indonesia who have managed to face opportunities, threats and competition in the era of technological and millennial disruption. This refers to the 2018 Bappenas data which states that the composition of the largest population in Indonesia is millennial at 90 million people.
