Extending Access to Guaranteed Umrah Pilgrim Candidates, Muamalat Signs Cooperation with iGoUmroh

Jakarta, May 14 2018 - Bank Muamalat (PT. Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk) and iGoUmroh (PT. Sarana Transwisata Teknologi) today signed an offline to online Cooperation Agreement (020) with iGoUmroh in order to expand access to prospective Umrah pilgrims to join the visa guarantee program umroh followed by talk shows entitled Umroh which are Comfortable, Safe and Trustworthy.

The signing of this Cooperation Agreement took place at Muamalat Tower 19th Floor which was attended by Purnomo B. Soetadi, as the Retail Banking Director of Bank Muamalat and from iGoUmroh represented by Mukti Ali as CEO & Co-Founder, Ma'mun Zubeiri, as CFO & Co- Founder, Fadhlin, as COO & Co-Founder, and Chairman Cepi Supriatna.

The Umroh Visa Guarantee Program is a new product innovation from the Financing Guarantor institution, in this case Bank Muamalat to protect prospective pilgrims from the possibility of a travel bureau failure risk that causes financial losses. This Umrah visa guarantee product is only for the purchase of Umrah travel packages that are offered or traded through the online portal www.igoumroh.com. This collaboration also strengthens Muamalat's proposition as a bank that has 1 stop service for Hajj & Umrah. All travel agencies registered as members or sellers on this online portal have been processed through rigorous selection and assessment by the iGoUmroh Analyst Team as service providers and by the guarantor institution, in accordance with the provisions of the Minister of Religion Regulation No. 8 of 2018. For this first stage, there are two travel agencies that have applied for and obtained the principle approval of the Umroh visa guarantee program, namely on behalf of PT. Lintas Iskandaria (Iskandaria tour & Travel), and PT. Dayakindo Kalimantan Utama Public Travel Bureau (DKU Travel).

Bank Muamalat with its service office network throughout Indonesia will provide easy access to services for prospective Umrah pilgrims who have not been reached by internet access and information technology, while they need an umroh visa guarantee program to minimize the risk of transaction speculation and failure of their worship plans.

Bank Muamalat's Retail Banking Director, Purnomo B Soetadi stated, "The signing of the offline to online collaboration between Bank Muamalat and iGoUmroh is a form of real support for all efforts to protect prospective Umrah pilgrims with the possibility of failure of other travel agencies in arranging umroh visas.
