Bank Muamalat and Hidayatullah Cooperate in the Utilization of Banking Products

Jakarta, 12 February 2020 - PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk. establish cooperation in the use of banking products with Hidayatullah. This cooperation includes fund raising, financing, cash management system (CMS) and Payment Point Online Bank (PPOB). In addition there will be cooperation in social programs with Baitulmaal Muamalat (BMM).

 

 

The signing ceremony of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) for both parties was held today at Muamalat Tower, Jakarta. Bank Muamalat was represented by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Achmad K. Permana and General Chairman of the Central Management Board Hidayatullah Nashirul Haq.

 

 

Permana said, Hidayatullah is one of the strategic Islamic organizations in Indonesia which is also a loyal customer of the company. Therefore, he welcomed the cooperation and hoped to be able to establish even broader cooperation in the future.

 

 

"Hidayatullah is one of our strategic partners. Through this collaboration we hope to become part of the economic vision of public relations that is owned by Hidayatullah. "In order to support this, we have channeled Rp. 93 billion in funding to Hidayatullah," he said.

 

 

 

In addition to business cooperation, Bank Muamalat also cooperates with Hidayatullah's humanitarian agency, Islamic Medical Service (IMS), in the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. One of them is Bank Muamalat donated a free tattoo removal unit in 2017. The car is equipped with medical equipment in accordance with medical standards.

 

    

 

 

This car has traveled to major cities in Indonesia, not only on the island of Java, but also cities in Sumatra to Kalimantan. The program was even awarded by the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights last year for a program of guidance to prisoners fostered by removing their tattoos.

 

 

Nashirul said that Hidayatullah chose Bank Muamalat as a partner in developing financing because Bank Muamalat was a pioneer of Islamic banking in Indonesia. In addition, both have similarities in vision in the field of muamalah.

 

 

"Bank Muamalat and Hidyatullah have the same vision, which is committed to implementing sharia principles in the field of muamalah," he said.
