5 Steps to Catch the Blessings of Laylatul Qadr

The month of Ramadan is a month full of blessings. It is a special month, the noblest and most dignified among other months. It contains a night better than a thousand months, Laylatul Qadr—a night eagerly awaited by all Muslims worldwide.

Laylatul Qadr is a night full of virtues and forgiveness. Hadith Ibnu Abi Dunya in Fadhail Ramadan stated that:

"Whoever stands (prays sunnah) on the night of Laylatul Qadr with full faith and hopes for the pleasure of Allah, then Allah forgives his previous sins."

Therefore, we must prepare and perform recommended deeds to attain this blessed night.

Here are some deeds that you can do to attain Laylatul Qadr in the month of Ramadan.

Increase Worship

One of the essential acts in gaining Laylatul Qadr is increasing worship. The more worship you perform, the greater the possibility of attaining this blessed night. Start by regularly performing the five daily prayers and increasing sunnah prayers such as tarawih and tahajud prayers.

Read the Quran

Reading the Quran is a highly recommended deed in the month of Ramadan, and even more, recommended to be done on Laylatul Qadr. Take time to read the Quran every day, whether in the morning, afternoon, evening, or night. Increase the reading of the Quran, and don't forget to understand its meaning.

Pray

Praying is an essential deed in attaining Laylatul Qadr. Take time to pray every night to Allah SWT and ask for forgiveness and mercy. Ask for blessings and guidance so we always receive guidance and ease in this life.

Charity

Charity is also an essential deed in attaining Laylatul Qadr. Give charity regularly and systematically to those in need or for public purposes. Charity can open the door to blessings and erase sins committed.

Avoiding Sins and Mistakes

Avoiding sins and mistakes is also very important in attaining Laylatul Qadr. We must protect ourselves from all forms of disobedience and sin and improve ourselves in every way. Avoid all forms of actions that harm oneself or others.

By performing these deeds well, we hope to obtain Laylatul Qadr, full of blessings and forgiveness from Allah SWT. In addition, good preparation and deeds during Ramadan can also help us become better individuals and obtain blessings in life.
