5 Tips to Stay Fit and Healthy During Ramadan

Ramadan is a month full of blessings, where Muslims fast for a whole month. Although in a state of fasting, maintaining health is still essential to perform worship optimally. Therefore, you must maintain a healthy lifestyle and exercise even during Ramadan.

Here are some tips to stay fit during Ramadan:

Eat a Balanced Suhoor Menu

Eating suhoor is very important for maintaining the health and fitness of the body during fasting. Make sure to eat a balanced menu that contains complex carbohydrates, protein, fiber, and vitamins. This way, the body will not quickly get tired and will remain energized throughout the day.

Exercise Even While Fasting

Although fasting, you should still exercise to keep the body fit and healthy. Light exercises like walking, cycling, or yoga can be done in the morning or afternoon when the temperature is not too hot.

Drink Enough Water

The body needs enough water to maintain fluid balance. Ensure to drink enough water while breaking the fast and suhoor so that the body does not lack fluids.

Avoid Foods High in Sugar and Fat

Foods high in sugar and fat can make the body quickly tired and lethargic. Avoiding these foods and choosing foods that contain enough fiber, vitamins, and protein is better.

Get Enough Rest

Enough rest is essential to maintain the health of the body. Make sure to get enough sleep at night and take a nap for 15-20 minutes to help keep the body fresh and fit throughout the day.

By maintaining a healthy lifestyle and regular exercise, we can fast optimally and stay fit throughout Ramadan. Happy fasting to Muslims around the world!
