Bank Muamalat Distributes Funds and Collaborates with New Partner

On 26 September 2019, Bank Muamalat conducts two important activities. We hope that these 2 activities can have a positive impact on the wider community, they are also part of the #AyoHijrah campaign which hopefully can inspire many people.

 

Distribution of Zakat & Humanitarian Funds in Hijrahfest Palu 2019

Alhamdulillah, PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk together with Baitulmaal Muamalat (BMM) participated in the 2019 Hijrahfest event held in Palu, Central Sulawesi. In this activity, BMM distributed zakat funds through Bank Muamalat of Rp25 million.

 

The donation was given symbolically by the Executive Director of Baitulmaal Muamalat Teten Kustiawan at the Jodjokodi Convention Center (JCC) in Palu.

 

On the same occasion, Bank Muamalat and BMM informed about the “Dusun Zakat Muamalat” (DZM) program in collaboration with PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (SMI). They rebuilt the house of Central Sulawesi earthquake victims with the concept of a recycle house that uses building materials from the earthquake.

 

                                                                                 

 

A total of 320 houses in Saloya, Marana, Kavaya and Oti Villages, Donggala Regency have been built with a total construction cost of Rp8,122,584,000.00 including three madrassas, nine wells and sanitation facilities.

 

At the symbolization event of the inauguration of the DZM at the Hijrahfest, BMM and PT SMI gave acrylic house numbers to one of the beneficiaries of Rumah Harapan. The number of beneficiaries of Rumah Harapan is 320 families or equal to 1,277 inhabitants.

 

Along with the event, BMM and Bank Muamalat also provided humanitarian aid to the people of Oti Village and Saloya Village, Donggala Regency. The assistance was in the form of a package of school supplies and groceries with a total aid of Rp. 138,240,000.00.

 

Collaboration Signing between Muamalat Bank and Peruri

Alhamdulillah, PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk. Is honored to be the first bank partner of Peruri Pay. Peruri Pay is the digital payment facility owned by Perum Peruri. Peruri Pay is used in the Hayuni application developed by PT Hayuni Aman Sejahtera and it is used to support umrah payment activities and umrah savings transfer media. This collaboration will benefit the two parties since both has been renowned their respective industries.

 

Through this collaboration, Bank Muamalat acts as an operational bank for the umra pilgrimage savings fund. Bank Muamalat itself has a Umrah Savings Plan product that can be used by pilgrims and travel agents. One of its superior features is the 1-Shar Shar-E ATM card. This card can be used in more than 18,000 ATMs bearing the VISA logo in the Holy Land.

 

                                                                                  

 

Peruri Pay will facilitate Umrah pilgrims in terms of payment because it can be accessed anywhere. In addition, this service minimizes the risk of misuse of pilgrim funds because pilgrims conduct transactions directly through the application without any intermediaries. This method, insyaallah can reduce the risk of failing to leave the pilgrimage.

 

In addition, Bank Muamalat also has a one-stop service aimed at the Hajj Umrah organizers association which is also named 1Hram (1 Stop Service for Hajj & Umrah Muamalat). This service occupies a special floor in Muamalat Tower in 19th floor, which can be utilized as a representative office of various associations of Hajj Umrah organizers.
