Muamalat Bank Eases Employees to Sacrifice "Qurban"

Jakarta, August 23, 2018 - Board of directors and employees of PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk. ("Bank Muamalat") participates directly in the implementation of Eid al-Adha this year.


All meat of sacrificial animals was distributed in 12 cities by Baitulmaal Muamalat (BMM) zakat management agency. These cities are Surabaya, Kuningan, Jambi, Bekasi, Lebak, Lombok, Pematang Siantar, Yogyakarta, Magelang, Pontianak, Kupang and Manokwari.


Whereas at the head office itself, the carrying out of sacrificial animals was carried out at Al-Bayyinah Setiabudi Mosque, South Jakarta. The animals sacrificed were 30 goats and 5 cows. One of them is the 700-kilogram Limousin type of cattle that comes from the directors.


Every year, Bank Muamalat also provides a remuneration package in the form of Eid al-Adha allowances for all employees. The amount of benefits provided is half of the total salary.
 

                                                                 
 
Bank Muamalat Chief Executive Officer Achmad K. Permana said, Bank Muamalat as a pioneer of Islamic banks seeks to pay attention to all employees by providing Eid al-Adha allowances to be more maximal in carrying out sacrificial worship.


"In the remuneration package received by employees every year, there is an Eid al-Adha allowance of half the salary, it aims to facilitate employees in carrying out sacrificial worship," he said.


All employees of Bank Muamalat carry out sacrifice services this year in their respective work areas. This year's Eid al-Adha feast falls on Wednesday, August 22 or 10 Dhu al-Hijjah in the hijri calendar system.
